Course description
Created to reinforce participant’s project management basics, the CPO course guarantees them skills applicable in many industries. With this certification you are credited for using the project management knowledge in a practical sense under varying circumstances; emphasis is given to the application rather than the constitutive methods.
The program consists of 12 online sessions, who are each 90 minutes in length and easily have 3 weekends in which to hold them. All assessment activities are embedded within the course sessions, no outside homework or examinations are required. Upon satisfying the prerequisites of the course, participants receive the Certified Project Officer (CPO) designation from the Institute of Project Management.
During the course, the participants will gain expertise in the basics of project management, effective concepts of stakeholder engagements, the overall concept of project planning, execution strategies, risk analysis, team leadership and operational monitoring. The design of the course is methodology-neutral, so that the learners can adapt the case concepts to any organizational setting.
